This past August Emily teamed up with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society for a donor appreciation event in Santa Fe New Mexico.  Emily was joined by pianist Janna Ernst and Santa Fe Opera colleagues Meg Marino, Jamie Barton, and Zak Nelson for a program titled “Music Off Leash”.  They entertained donors with animal themed songs and shared meaningful personal stories of rescuing animals.  The event was a huge success due to the hard work of board members, the generous donation of a venue space, the heartfelt performances, and the enthusiasm of the donors.
